Nigerian singer B-Red has reportedly escaped an alleged assassination attempt in Osogbo, Osun State, after being pursued by armed individuals in a dramatic incident that has raised serious security concerns.

Alleged B-Red assassination attempt incident was confirmed in a statement issued by Osun State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi, on Thursday, following reports of the attack which occurred on Wednesday afternoon around the Oke Fia axis near the Government House.
According to accounts, B-Red, whose real name is Adebayo Adeleke, had visited Alekuwodo Market before the incident unfolded while he was returning from the area.
He alleged that his vehicle was trailed by a Toyota Venza and several motorcycles, which repeatedly attempted to block his movement as the pursuit intensified across multiple streets in Osogbo.
The singer stated that he managed to escape by driving into the premises of the Osun State Government House at Oke Fia, where he found safety and security intervention.
B-Red further alleged that he recognised one of the individuals involved as a man identified as Asiri Eniba, whom he described as a known political thug.
The Osun State Government described the incident as a serious security threat and confirmed that the matter had been reported to the police for investigation.
Commissioner Kolapo Alimi called for the immediate arrest and prosecution of those involved, stressing that the situation should not be treated with levity.

The development has drawn public attention, especially given B-Red’s family ties to Governor Ademola Adeleke and singer Davido, intensifying calls for a thorough security probe.
