The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace, Festus Keyamo, SAN, has said Nigeria has cleared the foreign airlines trapped fund with the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.
The minister said on Monday, adding that Emirate Airline is back.
Recall that Emirates Airlines on the 16th of May 2024, announced plans to recommence flight operations to Nigerian airports starting from October 1, 2024, after stopping operations in Nigeria for two year.
The airline stated that its service will be operated using a Boeing 777-300ER. EK783 will depart Dubai at 0945hrs, arriving in Lagos at 1520hrs; the return flight EK784 will leave Lagos at 1730hrs and arrive in Dubai at 0510hrs the next day.
