EDO: Orobedo appointed interim GM state broadcasting service

The Edo State Government has announced the appointment of Queeneth Orobedo as the interim General Manager of the state broadcasting service.

Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie, made the revelation in a statement yesterday.

According to Ogie, this is ahead of the imminent revamp and restructuring of the establishment.

He further noted that the appointment takes immediate effect.

“The Edo State Government has approved the appointment of Mrs Queeneth Orobedo as the interim General Manager of the Edo State Broadcasting Service (EBS) ahead of the imminent revamp and restructuring of the establishment by the government,” the statement said.

“The appointment takes immediate effect. The functioning General Manager, Mr Osagie Asabor is to report to the Edo State Ministry of Communication and Orientation for redeployment to a new assignment”.

Orobedo was at a point the Secretary, Edo State Drug Control Committee (ESDCC).

Alongside the interim GM, Terry Isaacs Idahor was also appointed as Assistant General Manager Programmes.
