Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye winner, Whitemoney, has responded to internet users doubting his singing talents and criticizing his music.
The reality star during an Instagram live session with ace music writer, Bankuli, declared that his critics are only insulting grace.
“I told them that by this time next year I go don pack major awards, dem dey yab me dem dey yab grace Grammy go dey look me like this.”
Bankuli advised Whitemoney and shared his interesting story of how he became an academy member of the Grammy awards and miraculously met Kanye West and Beyonce.
He said, “My name is Bankuli, yes I create and write music, and I never in my entire life thought of being nominated for Grammy not to talk of being an academy member. I have met Kanye, Beyonce I did not have any idea all that will come.”
He also told the reality star not to listen to their criticisms.
Whitemoney further declared, “At this level, word of mouth no dey move me. My song dey get streams. The more you criticise, the more you stream.”
In an earlier interview with Cool FM, Whitemoney also said,”They say there’s a trend where every housemate that comes out of Big Brother wants to go into music. The thing is, I do not want to go into music, I have been in music. It’s just that I didn’t have the platform like every other up-and-coming artist.”
When asked about the few of his music career, the reality TV star gave a very bold answer.
“By this time next year, I’ll get a grammy, Isha Allah. Name all the big awards, Whitemoney is going to cop a few of them,” he said.
