Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi has revealed the reason behind his visit to the Governor of Rivers State and former presidential aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party, Nyesom Wike.
Obi had met with Wike on Wednesday behind closed doors at his private residence in Port Harcourt.
However, in a statement via his verified Twitter handle on Thursday, Obi said he had visited the Governor to discuss vital national issues.
The statement reads, “Earlier today, I visited Port Harcourt, to confer with H.E. @GovWike on vital issues of national interest.”
