October is here with lots of movies to binge on. On the Nigerian scene, movie producers are really doling out interesting movies while on the foreign scene, more horror movies are and would be released in anticipation of Halloween in November.

Swallow

Pandora’s Box

the story of a couple forced apart when a tragic incident occurs testing their faith and love for each other. Directed by Simon Peacemaker, the film also touches on themes of grief and the tough choice of euthanasia.
Starring Ufuoma Mcdermott, Onyii Alex, IK Ogbonna, Timini Egbuson, Nini Mbonu and is produced by John Udorah Chukwuemeka in conjunction with ETGSL Group.

Hide and Seek

When a gang loses millions of dollars, everyone becomes a suspect.
It stars Kunle Remi, Uche Montana, Akah Nnani, Sani Muazu, Bimbo Ademoye, Efa Iwara, Kiki Omeili, Enado Odigie among others.

A movie about single parenting, starring Kunle Remi, Lilian Esoro, Enyinna Nwigwe, and Big brother Naija housemate Pere. Producer, Sandra Bremaud spoke about the movie on Instagram that “it is tasking for two people to raise and see a child through school these days now thinking of how a single woman would do this job is a whole lot and that is why through our forthcoming movie, the management has decided to support 10 single mothers and give 20% of the proceeds of the movie from the cinema to empower more single mothers”

Charge and Bail

Charge and Bail is an upcoming Nigerian comedy-drama film directed by Niyi Towolawi and co-produced by Eku Edewor and Matilda Ogunleye.
The film stars Zainab Balogun with Stan Nze, Femi Adebayo, Folu Storms, Tope Olowoniyan, and Eso Dike in supporting roles. The film tells the story of Boma, a high-flying lawyer from the upper class who finds herself posted to a charge and bail law firm during her NYSC year.

Progressive Tailors Club

This is an upcoming 2021 Nigerian political satire film directed by Biodun Stephen and co-produced by Niyi Akinmolayan and Victoria Akujobi.
The film stars Beverly Osu, Uzor Arukwe, Funnybone, and Blessing Jessica Obasi in the lead roles whereas Rachael Oniga, Lizzy Jay, Adedimeji Lateef, and Bolaji Ogunmola made supportive roles.
The film deals with members of the Progressive Tailors Club where they gather for a meeting to elect their new leader but made several unlawful comments on that.
