The Lagos State Valuation Office (LASVO) has begun valuing all the fixed assets of the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA).
A statement signed by the Director, LASVO, Esv. Adekunle G. Awolaja announced that the exercise began on Tuesday, October 12th, 2021, and would last until the end of the month.
He disclosed that the Office would conduct the assessment in collaboration with three consultants at about 51 locations in Lagos, adding that LASWA’s terminals and jetties would also be assessed.
Esv. Awolaja explained the purpose of the exercise is to identify and locate all Property, Plants and Equipment (PPE) of LASWA, ascertain their condition, determine their value in monetary terms, and make recommendations for maximising such assets’ usage.
