Manchester City have reportedly completed a sensational £116 million agreement to sign English midfielder Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest, in one of the biggest transfers of the summer window.

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that both clubs have reached a full agreement after negotiations entered their final stages over the past few days.
According to reports, Manchester City sources have now confirmed that the deal is complete, with only formalities remaining before the transfer is officially announced.
Anderson is said to have informed Nottingham Forest of his desire to leave the club earlier on Thursday, signalling his intention to complete the move to the Premier League champions.
The midfielder is expected to undergo his medical in the United States, where Manchester City are currently involved in pre-season preparations.
The move marks a significant investment by Pep Guardiola’s side as they continue to strengthen their midfield options ahead of the new campaign.
Anderson, regarded as one of England’s rising talents, impressed with his performances for Nottingham Forest, attracting interest from several top European clubs before City moved decisively to secure his signature.
