Western Zone hosts inaugural ₦10m table tennis tournament, uniting Nigerian Customs and industry stakeholders in Lagos for friendly competition.
The Western Zone of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), in collaboration with the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation, has announced the commencement of a ₦10 million prize money table tennis tournament.
The event is set to start on 1 December at the Not Bad Sports Arena in Egbeda, Lagos, marking an exciting milestone in sports for Nigeria’s maritime and aviation sectors.

Organisers of this inaugural tournament aim to promote unity, networking, and friendly competition among Nigeria’s key sectors, including maritime, aviation, and border operations.
In addition to fostering camaraderie, the event provides an opportunity for government agencies, industry stakeholders, and sports enthusiasts to come together, building community and strengthening industry ties.
The tournament has attracted participants from a wide array of agencies and organisations, including the Nigeria Customs Service, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Nigerian Shippers’ Council, as well as Licensed Customs Agents, Terminal Operators, Shipping Companies, and Bonded Terminal Operators.
Each participating organisation will register a team of four players to represent them in the competition, highlighting the broad support for the event across sectors.
