Vincent Enyeama has been the greatest African goalkeeper of all time by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).
The IFFHS ranking was done for all continents including Europe, South America and Asia.
Enyeama was recognised for his impressive goalkeeping from 1987 to 2022 with the Super Eagles.
Aside from his stint with the Nigerian national team, the goalie also made a big impact in Africa by winning the CAF Champions League title in 2003 and 2004 with Enyimba.
The shot-stopper represented Nigeria at three FIFA World Cups in Korea/Japan in 2002, South Africa in 2010 and Brazil in 2014.
He was also in goal in 2013, when the Super Eagles won their third Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
