Victor Osimhen has been nominated the UEFA Champions League Goal of the Week award.
During Napoli’s 1-1 draw with Barcelona, the Nigeria international scored a superb goal at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Wednesday night.
The 25-year-old showed good strength to turn Inigo Martinez just inside the penalty area on an Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa through ball and fired in from 14 yards.
It was the forward’s first goal in the UEFA Champions League this season.
Barcelona Forward, Robert Lewandowski, PSV Eindhoven’s Donyell Malen and Porto’s Gelano are the other players in contention for the award.
