The driver of the Honda Civic was said to be on top speed before losing control of the vehicle and veering off his lane to the other side of the road and ramming into the truck.

Taofiq Adebayo, Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department, LASTMA, in a statement, said the accident occurred at Unity Bus Stop, inward Isheri Roundabout immediately after General Hospital around the Isheri area of Igando, Lagos.
