President Bola Tinubu has arrived Lagos to flag-off the Lagos-Calabar highway construction.
The president was received by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other government officials at the Murtala Muhammed Airport.
According to Tinubu’s Special Assistant on Social Media, Olusegun Dada, the president would inaugurate some projects ahead of his first anniversary in office.
Minister of work, Dave Umahi on Friday said Tinubu will kick off the road’s construction on May 26.
Tinubu, during a meeting with a delegation of Yoruba leaders of thought at the State House in Abuja on Friday, said his administration will do all it takes for the average Nigerian to feel the impact of governance.
The president said the country is no longer “bleeding” but moving into prosperity.
He added that the last 12 months of his administration have been fulfilling, despite some challenges.
