Head coach of the Super Falcons, Randy Waldrum believes his side will learn from their defeat to Mexico.

In the first game of the four-nation invitational tournament tagged Revelation Cup, the nine-time African champions extended their losing streak to six games after a 1-0 defeat to hosts Mexico on Thursday morning.

Kiana Palacios scored the decisive goal for Mexico in the 85th minute.

“It’s a learning process for us. It was an opportunity to try new things. New ideas and new tactics,” Waldrum said after the game.

“We started the game strongly though they dominated the last 20 minutes of the first half.

“It’s always disappointing when you concede late in any game. We will learn from this defeat and prepare for our next game.”

The Super Falcons will face Colombia in their next game in the competition on Saturday
