Luis Suarez is already in Inter Miami’s plans as the ex-Barcelona star is set to join Lionel Messi in the United States, per Goal.
According to Tata Martino, he Uruguayan attacker had been linked with a move to the Major Soccer League, MLS side in the summer.
However, his club Gremio have refused to let him leave despite his desire to and Suarez has confirmed that he will leave the Brazilian club at the end of the season.
Although this is earlier than expected as his contract runs for another year but as revealed by Martino, the Florida club are thinking about him.
If Suarez moves to Miami, he will be reunited with former Barcelona team-mate Lionel Messi.
Both players spent six years together at Camp Nou and won four La Liga titles and a Champions League among other trophies.
In July, the 36-year-old said he and Messi had always planned to retire together. It appears that dream will come to fruition going by Martino’s latest comments.
“Within our analysis of the upcoming season, and the needs we may have, we have an analysis with Luis,” the Miami coach said.
“So when the moment arrives to make Suarez’s situation with respect to Inter Miami official, we’ll be prepared to go in the corresponding direction.”
