Sanwo-Olu meets David Oyedepo as election draws closer

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has visited Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo as the March 18 date for the governorship and state Houses of Assembly elections draw close.

Mr. Sanwo-Olu paid the courtesy visit on Monday at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State.

Sanwo-Olu announced his visit via Instagram on Tuesday.

“I paid a courtesy visit to Bishop David Oyedepo founder of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, (Winners Chapel) and presiding Bishop of the Faith Tabernacle in Ota, Ogun State,” he said.

Recall that Sanwo-Olu visited the Harvesters Church on Sunday, March 12.

After the church service, the governor stood at the entrance of the church where he exchanged handshakes with members of the church as they left for their homes.

A video from the church immediately went viral on social media, drawing tons of reactions from the public.

Sanwo-Olu, who is facing opposition for his seat, especially from the Labour Party, has intensified his re-election campaign by reaching out to influential groups and individuals.
