Jadon Sancho has been banned from entering Manchester United’s first-team training base and is training and eating with academy players, per Daily Mirror.
Erik ten Hag gave this instruction making it clear that Sancho must apologise for claiming he had been made a “scapegoat” in a now-deleted Instagram post.
The manager had claimed Sancho’s performance during training was below expectations, although, he has deleted the post, the 23-year-old has refused to issue an apology to the coach.
The Mirror reports that the former Borussia Dortmund player was late for training more than once prior to his squabble with Ten Hag.
The England international has also deactivated his Instagram account, the winger is still active on X (formerly Twitter). He deleted all of his posts last November while he was away from the squad over the festive period before returning earlier this year.
The 23-year-old will not be included in Tuesday’s League Cup clash against Crystal Palace.
