Piers Morgan has slammed Manchester United and their manager Erik Ten Hag, after the club’s shocking Premier League 3-1 defeat to Brighton on Saturday.
The British broadcaster, called Man United a woeful team and said the Red Devils have got way worse since Cristiano Ronaldo left Old Trafford last year.
Recalling the circumstances that ended the 38-year-old’s stay with United, Morgan insisted that the Al-Nassr forward was right about his controversial comments about the Dutch coach.
After the defeat to Brighton, posted on his X, formerly Twitter saying, “As woeful United are thrashed at home by Brighton, does ANYONE still doubt that @Cristiano was 💯 right about the state of the club and Ten Hag? They’ve got even worse since Ronaldo left,” Morgan wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Hannibal Mejbri scored for United in the 73rd minutes after Danny Welbeck, Pascal Gross and Joao Pedro had scored for Brighton.
Manchester United are sitting in 13th position on the Premier League table with 6 points from five games.
