Cristiano Ronaldo has been announced as the player with the most wins this millennium, the Portuguese forward has recorded much success during his professional football career.

This was revealed on Saturday by Transfermarkt on the 20 players with the most wins this millennium.

He has won almost all trophies in football since making his debut for Sporting Lisbon in 2002.

He can boast of 29 trophies for his club sides, including the Champions League five times (Manchester United 1, Real Madrid 4).

For the National team, he won Euro 2016 and the Nations League in 2019.

And with the 36-year-old’s win with Manchester United yesterday, where he scored a penalty, he has been victorious 597 times during his career in football.

This puts him on the victorious side more times than any player in the world in the 21st century.

Currently, Ronaldo is just three victories away from becoming the first player in the 21st century to win 600 games. His win rate is an insane 68% and he is currently 51 victories better than his eternal rival, Messi, having played 89 more matches.

In the future, Messi might surpass Ronaldo, but with the 36-year-old still going strong, it will most likely be years before that happens.

Recently, Benzema moved above Alves into third place, Real are in good form this season, so it’s likely he will continue keeping his distance from the Brazilian right-back.

The rest of the top 10 is dominated by Spaniards, including long-time Barcelona duo Xavi and Iniesta. On the edge of the top 10 are Bayern’s Neuer and Muller, who each have 446 wins, while Lampard and Terry, two English players, were in the top 20.
