Real Madrid have shown interest in Nigerian forward Samuel Chukwueze after he scored a brace at the Santiago Bernabéu last Saturday.
Madrid were impressed with Chukwueze who helped Villarreal in their 3-2 win against them and could now lead to a tempting offer from Los Blancos.
According to Spanish outlet, Marca, President Florentino Perez dreams of having Chukwueze on one flank and Vinicius Junior on the other.
Chukwueze swill be out of contract in 2024 and Villarreal may have to make a decision on the attacker who has a buyout clause of €100 million in his current deal. However, according to Goal.com, Villarreal would be willing to accept half of that by the end of the season.
For Real Madrid, strengthening their attack will be top on their list in the summer as Marco Asensio is out of contract and Carlo Ancelotti “doesn’t care” if he signs a new deal. Eden Hazard’s future is also uncertain, as the Belgian is struggling for playtime at the Bernabéu.
Chukwueze became the first player to complete seven dribbles in a La Liga match against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu since Lionel Messi in April 2017.
