Eonsfleet Pro solutions Limited (EPL) and Primero Transport Services Limited, both BRT operators in Lagos, have formed a partnership to cut commuter trip time.
Tokunbo Arannilewa, the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of EPL said in a statement issued by Primero’s Head of Corporate Communications, Mr Mutiu Yekeen, on Tuesday that the focus was on optimizing mobility solutions.
He also stated that it was to offer an artificial intelligence-enabled transportation ecosystem that would harness the power of data, analytics, and the cloud to improve travel time and manage congestion.

Aside from other advantages, he said the system will increase regulatory compliance, support preventative maintenance, and enable dynamic policy-making.
The initiative, according to Arannilewa, is part of efforts to digitize and change Nigeria’s transportation ecosystem, as well as deliver solutions to the country’s burgeoning Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the transportation sector.
“It has become imperative to deploy world-class strategy-led artificial intelligence-driven solutions and next-gen technology services to the Nigerian transport sector.
“Primero, a leading metropolitan transport service provider, is ready to deploy digital solutions to reduce passengers waiting time and improve customer experience.
“The Primero- Eonsfleet partnership brings together deep skills in the transportation business, technology strategy, development/deployment and product ideas to support commuters.
“The partnership focuses on building integrated digital platforms to understand customers, and provide an improved seamless transit experience,” he said.
Mr Fola Tinubu, Managing Director of Primero, also responded by saying that the cooperation was deliberately intended to provide answers to transportation difficulties and improve the delivery of high-quality services to Lagos people.
“Technology is the driving force of everything we do in transportation. It drives ticketing, scheduling and monitoring.
“Technology makes the system more efficient and must be incorporated in transportation,” he said.
