The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the extension of the tenures of the North-West zone and the Lagos State caretaker committees of the party.
This means that the members of the caretaker committees are to continue in their current capacities for an additional 30 days.
According to Debo Ologunagba, the party’s publicity secretary in Abuja, the tenure cannot exceed 30 days from the expiration of the current term.
Additionally, he said the tenure of the caretaker committee for the North-West zonal area had been extended from February 28 to March 28, while the tenure of the caretaker committee for Lagos State had been extended from February 19 to March 19.
