Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen has been nominated for the 2023 The Best FIFA Football award.
FIFA released the names of the nominees today (Thursday).
During the 2022/23 campaign, Osimhen was impressive with his goals and assists to help Gli Azzurri win the Serie A title after 30 years of not winning the title.
The Nigerian international scored 26 goals in 32 league appearances for the Partenopei.
The 24-year-old is also in the running for the 2023 Men’s Ballon d’Or.
Osimhen will battle the likes of Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland, Julio Alvarez and Kevin de Bruyne for the award.
