The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) team, Bay FC, celebrated Asisat Oshoala following her selection by Nigeria for the 2024 Olympic Games.
Oshoala was named in an 18-player squad by Super Falcons head coach Randy Waldrum last week. In recognition of this achievement, Bay FC presented Oshoala with a bouquet of flowers, joined by her teammates who will also represent their respective countries at the Olympics.
Rachael Kundananji and Lysianne Proulx will represent Zambia and Canada, respectively, at the games.
Oshoala is expected to lead the Super Falcons’ attack in Paris. The nine-time African champions are in Group C, alongside Spain, Japan, and Brazil.
