Business mogul and socialite, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has built an Anglican Church in his Oba, Anambra State, his hometown.
Obi Cubana on Thursday took to his Instagram page to share the news.
According to him, the church project began six months ago.
He stated that in a bid to properly memorialise their late mother, Lady Uche Iyiegbu, who died in November 2020, at 75, the family members vowed to erect a church building where they can mark her sixth-month anniversary service.
The Chairman of Cubana Group shared a video from the much talked about Oba burial and wrote, “On July 18th, 2021, we made God a promise here in Oba…to have Mama’s sixth-month service inside the new church building by 31st December.”
Sharing a video of the completed church building, Obi Cubana appreciated all who contributed to making it a reality and promised even much more projects in the new year.
He wrote: “Today, 30th December 2021, to the Glory of God, here we are Good Shepherd Anglican Church Oba!! It Started 15th August 2021!
