Claudette Dion, sister of famous Canadian singer, Céline Dion has said the no medication has worked to help the musician combat her Stiff Person Syndrome SPS.
In December 2022, LagosPost reported that the ‘My Heart will go on’ singer disclosed that she was diagnosed with an incurable disease that causes one’s muscles to tense uncontrollably.
Consequently, Céline Dion in a public statement via Twitter in May 2023, announced the cancellation of all her 2023 and 2024 upcoming world tours due to the neurological disorder.
Dion’s sister in an interview with Le Journal de Montreal gave an update on the songstress’s health, saying that since the diagnosis there has not been much improvement in the singer’s health.
“We can’t find any medicine that works but having hope is important. We are working closely with researchers who are specialised in the rare condition,” Claudette said.
The Stiff Person Syndrome condition reportedly affects just one person in every million.
