In December 2022, LagosPost reported that the ‘My Heart will go on’ singer disclosed that she was diagnosed with an incurable disease that causes one’s muscles to tense uncontrollably.

Consequently, Céline Dion in a public statement via Twitter in May 2023, announced the cancellation of all her 2023 and 2024 upcoming world tours due to the neurological disorder.
