The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu charged with terrorism offences by the Federal Government has engaged new lawyers for his defense.
Kanu’s trial is expected to resume at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday.
According to reports, a new team of lawyers led by Alloy Ejimakor will take over Kanu’s defense in the 7-count charges.
No reason has been adduced to the change in the legal team being led before now by Chief Mike Ozekhome SAN and Ifeanyi Ejiofor.
Meanwhile, the court already has lawyers and sympathizers of the Biafra agitator present.
