The international friendly between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and world champions Argentina has been called off.
Reports says the friendly was called off due to the short time to process visas for the Nigerian delegation.
The game which was earlier scheduled to be played in China was moved to the United States of America following a disagreement between Argentina captain, Lionel Messi and Chinese authorities.
Argentina will now take on Costa Rica instead of the Super Eagles.
The Nigerian team will now look for another opponent in their preparation for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic in June.
