NBC expresses satisfaction with Christ Miracle Church’s 90.7FM radio station, granting approval for transmission after thorough assessment.
The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has expressed its satisfaction with the readiness of the 90.7FM radio station operated by Christ Miracle Church Mission (CMCM) in Ojodu Berger, Lagos.
Following an assessment tour, the commission confirmed that the station is ready to begin transmission.
On Thursday, the Zonal Director of NBC, Raphael Akpan, led a team of officials on a visit to the station, where they inspected the studio area, transmitter, inverter, mast, generator, and other key facilities.
Akpan spoke positively about the station’s infrastructure, noting that CMCM Champion Broadcasting Network 90.7FM is fully prepared to commence operations.
In an address to journalists after the inspection, Akpan expressed his pleasure at the approval of the broadcasting licence for the church’s radio station.
He commended Prophet Peter Adebisi, the founder of CMCM, and the church council for their initiative in establishing the station.
“From our observation, we can say that the CMCM Champion Broadcasting Network 90.7FM is ready for transmission,” Akpan said. “It is our prayer that this radio station will go places.”
He also emphasized the importance of adhering to broadcasting standards, advising those managing the station to thoroughly study the National Broadcasting Code, particularly regarding rules, commercials, and engineering.
Prophet Adebisi, in turn, expressed gratitude to NBC for approving the church’s request to operate the radio station, highlighting the importance of the new platform for the church and its community outreach.
