Romelu Lukaku is set to return to Chelsea for the start of the pre-season.
Lukaku who has been away on loan at Inter Milan last season will be returning to the Premier League club because both clubs are yet to agree on a transfer fee.
However, Lukaku wants to remain with the Serie A side.
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano said the Belgian captain is expected back in Chelsea training on Monday, July 17.
Romano wrote: “Romelu Lukaku is now due to return at training with Chelsea on July 17th.
“No decision made yet on the player’s side on how to handle the pre-season situation — it will be discussed in a few days.
“Inter will return with a new bid very soon.”
The transfer expert also revealed that Manchester City have reached an agreement to sign 16-year-old centre-back, Harrison Parker, from Manchester United.
“Manchester City are close to reaching an agreement with Manchester United for top talented CB (16) Harrison Parker.
“City has beaten four top clubs to the signing — agreement is close despite Man Utd offering highest youth deal to keep Parker,” Romano tweeted.
