Lagos, Ijebu-Ode to host Federation Cup semi-finals

The Nigeria Football Federation has announced that the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos and Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode will be the venues for the semi-finals of the men’s edition of the 2023 NFF/TINGO Federation Cup competition.

The prestigious trophy which would be played next month will see either Bendel Insurance FC or Warri Wolves, after both teams clash at the MJA on Lagos Island.

Also, in the semi-final, Rangers International will play against Plateau United FC at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode.

Warri Wolves shocked Lobi Stars 2-1 in the quarter-final at the Ijebu-Ode stadium, while Rangers International defeated Doma United 1-0 at the Akure Township Stadium.

Plateau United also dashed the hopes of Kwara United 1-0 in Abuja while Bendel Insurance defeated Sunshine Stars at the Awka Township Stadium to reach the last four.
