The Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Mrs Yetunde Arobieke, said the Lagos government is prioritising empowerment activities for women and youths to strengthen community resilience and promote inclusive growth.
She noted that the government is focused on reducing poverty by protecting vulnerable populations through cash transfers and other measures that will help improve the state’s human capital indicators.
It will also promote opportunities through access to productive inclusion initiatives and jobs.
One of these is through NG-CARES, the initiative of the Federal Government alongside the 36 states’ governments, in collaboration with the World Bank.
