Junior Achievement Nigeria and KPMG Nigeria have successfully completed the JA Career Success Programme for Secondary School Students, which included a STEM curriculum.

A statement said the ceremony, held at the KPMG Tower, Victoria Island, Lagos, sparked a significant step towards equipping young individuals with the essential skills and knowledge required to build resilience in the future.

“The seven-week programme was tailored to empower senior secondary school students with the necessary skills that would enable them to become employable for high-growth career opportunities.

“Developed by JA Nigeria, the curriculum also imparted the participants with job readiness skills that would help them harness decision-making abilities essential in the future.

“The programme emphasised critical areas and fundamental skills required for navigating and excelling in life. This encompasses the 4Cs: critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity, along with vital soft skills, STEM education, personal branding, and practical job-seeking tools such as resume writing, cover letters, interviews, and digital profile building.”

The Executive Director of Junior Achievement Nigeria, Foluso Gbadamosi, expressed joy at the programme’s success, calling it a significant milestone in their commitment to empowering young minds.

She highlighted the inclusion of STEM in the JA Career Success Programme, emphasizing dedication to preparing students for future challenges.

Gbadamosi expressed delight in witnessing the positive impact of collaboration with KPMG Nigeria, celebrating the growth and potential of each participant.

She reiterated their vision to inspire and prepare young people for global success, eagerly anticipating the transformative journey with future generations.
