Today, the industry’s top provider of digital payment and commerce solutions, Interswitch, disclosed plans for a Disaster Recovery exercise throughout its infrastructure.

The payments technology company Interswitch revealed the exercise will take place on Sunday, March 19, in an email to clients that Technology Times was able to obtain. Interswitch did not provide any other information on the scheduled Disaster Recovery exercise across its infrastructure.

According to experts, there have been claims that firms execute disaster recovery for a variety of reasons, including maintaining customer trust, assuring company continuity, minimizing downtime, protecting data, preventing loss, and complying with regulatory requirements.

Customers may have trouble using certain of the company’s services between the hours of 12:00 am and 5:00 am, according to Interswitch, because of the exercise.

The exercise, Interswitch says, is scheduled to take place between 12:00 am to 05:00 am and during this period, customers may experience difficulties accessing some of the company’s services.

Any difficulty this exercise may cause has been apologized for in advance by Interswitch. The company also added that it recognizes how crucial uninterrupted access to its services is and is making all necessary preparations to lessen the effects of the maintenance work.

Customers have been told by Interswitch that they are appreciated for their understanding and tolerance during this period and that they can expect even better service after the repair is finished.
