Convener of the maiden edition of National House Fair Lagos, HRH Dr Becky Olubukola, has announced plans to hold the event on the 1st of December 31, 2022
The gathering, which would take place at Oriental Hotel, 3, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos, would give participants the chance to discuss problems, policies, and practices that affect the housing industry and offer solutions that are in line with current global technologies, innovations, and best practices.
With its theme: ‘Property in a sachet: Gateway to a better life, the programme will equally bring together captains of industries, real estate investors, business owners and CEOs of different organisations to discuss and recommend strategies
The NHF Lagos coordinator and announcer, Mr Tolu Oluwo, in a statement made available to journalists, noted that some of the issues that will be on the front burner include policy reviews, effective policy implementation and course corrections within the housing industry and reduction in the current housing deficit.
“NHF, which has a keen focus on housing and related sectors of Nigeria’s economy, is powered by the Bstan Group.
“Its core objectives are in the areas of complementing both Federal and state government’s efforts towards improving the standard of living of all Nigerians by making housing available, accessible and affordable”, the statement said.
Speakers for the event are likely to include Mr Paul Onwuanibe, MD/CEO of Landmark Group, Mrs Jane Kimemia-Nechi, CEO of Optiva Capita Partners, and Mr Saheed Bahir, Group Head of Business Development, Meristem.
Others include Mrs Funmi Efuwape, the Ogun State Commissioner for Women’s Affairs; Mrs Toke Benson-Awoyinka, the Lagos State Governor’s Special Assistant on Housing; Mr Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome (Ali Baba); Hon. Ayodeji Joseph (LSDPC); and Amb. (Dr.) Funke Kehinde, the MD of Brilliant Concepts Realtors.
