Renowned Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku has revealed that he has been without employment for an extended period.

Responding to a widely circulated video showing him working as a fuel attendant at a Delta State gas station, the actor expressed his struggle to make ends meet despite his status as a respected figure in the industry.

In a video circulating on social media, Anuku appealed to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State and his fans for assistance.

Anuku emphasized his contributions to the country and his status as a legend, yet highlighted his prolonged unemployment, stating, “I have worked for this country. I have attained the height of being a legend. But I’ve had no job for, God knows, how many years. And I expect that Nigerians will also know that I did it all for them”.

Anuku directly addressed Governor Sheriff, urging for support, and made a heartfelt plea to his devoted fans, saying, “I just gonna ask Governor Sheriff to please send support to me. And my fans who truly love and appreciate the works I’ve done for them, if you think you truly love me, may God help you all to help me.”
