Bikers with Attitude and Determination, a not-for-profit motorcycle group in Nigeria have recognised the Lagos State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC; the Inspector of Police, a retired police officer and other esteemed personalities.
The individuals and organisations were honoured for their commitment to community development, dedication to charitable causes, and making a difference in the lives of the less privileged and vulnerable members of society.
At the event held in Lagos and themed: ‘Jollof and Palmie – Motorbikes and Food Fest,’ the President of Bikers with Attitude and Determination, Mr Kayode Kosile-Palmer, said: “We are delighted to recognise these exceptional individuals and organizations for their outstanding contributions to our community. Their commitment to service and their dedication to making a positive impact are truly commendable.
“The Motorbikes and Food Fest provided the perfect platform to celebrate their achievements and highlight the importance of community development.
“The BMW Club of Nigeria was also recognized for their outstanding efforts in promoting the automobile community in Nigeria. Through their various initiatives and events, they have fostered a sense of camaraderie among automobile enthusiasts and contributed significantly to the growth and development of the automobile culture in the country”.
Meanwhile, Nigeria Immigration Service on Monday appointed Aridegbe Adedotun, a Deputy Comptroller, as spokesman.
He holds a BA Arts degree, Masters in Terrorism and International Security, and a PhD in Crisis Management.
He was a one-time spokesman of the Zone A Command, Ikeja, Lagos.
“The highly cerebral officer is happily married with kids,” Immigration said.
