Ayodele Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti State and a leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), paid a visit to Bola Ahmed Tinubu after his return to Nigeria.

On Tuesday, Fayose paid a visit to the APC chieftain at his Bourdillon Ikoyi home to wish him well.

Tinubu who before returning on Friday had had a knee surgery in London before returning to Nigeria.

Many leaders, including President Muhammadu Buhari, paid him a visit in London before he returned to Nigeria.

“Today, I was at Bourdillon to wish Asiwaju Bola Tinubu soonest recovery. Health issues know no political party and in this part of the world, we seldom celebrate people when they are alive.

“Rather, we like to sign condolence registers. To me, that is not the best way to live”, Fayose wrote on Twitter after his visit.

“Most importantly, politics should be about love for each other.

“Therefore, like other leaders in Nigeria, I wish Asiwaju sound and robust health”, he said.

For those who may be reading political meanings to the visit, Fayose sent a message to them:

“And to those negative political analysts, this visit notwithstanding, I remain an unrepentant PDP leader and key stakeholder.”
