The Nigerian Navy has debunked the report currently going viral that Abdulgafar Abiola popularly known as Cute Abiola is missing.
In a press release, signed by Commodore for Chief of the Naval Staff, Suleman Dahun, the Nigerian Navy said Cute Abiola is not missing calling the earlier report as false.
The news of the skit maker going missing went viral when Debo ‘Mr Macaroni’ posted on his Twitter page on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, that Abiola, who had gone to work on Monday morning was missing, as his wife last saw when he left for work that morning and his phone was also unreachable.

His tweet had garnered lots of sympathy from fans and social media users who began requesting the Nigerian Navy to release the skit maker or release a statement regarding his whereabouts.
The Nigeria Navy has, however, also stated that the skit maker was in custody for question over the “breaching of the Armed Forces Social Media Policy and refusal to obey particular orders.”
The Naval Force also enjoined its officers to adhere to the “provisions of the Armed Forces Social Policy in their usage of social media platforms.”
