Nigerian comedian and actor, AY Makun has broken his silence following the reports of a fire incident at his residence in the Lekki area of Lagos state.
The popular socialite took to social media to reassure his fans and well-wishers that he and his family are safe and out of harm’s way.
The news of the fire incident had spread like wildfire across social media platforms, causing concern among many netizens who feared for the safety of AY Makun and his family.
According to the reports, the fire caused extensive damage to the comedian’s home and properties worth millions of Naira were allegedly destroyed.
However, putting an end to speculations and concerns, AY Makun confirmed that he and his family are safe and unharmed.
In a heartfelt message, he emphasized the importance of family and faith in God, stating that everything else in life is temporary and fleeting.
“Family and God – that is what’s important. Everything else comes and goes. Can’t wait to join you guys in the US in few days,” he wrote.
