CAF, LOC set for 2023 AFCON draw ceremony in Abidjan

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) are set for the draw ceremony of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.

The final draw will be held on Thursday, October 12 at Parc des Expositions in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria, hosts Cote d’Ivoire and 22 other qualified teams will discover their fate for the group stage of the competition after the draw.

The draw ceremony will be broadcast live on CAF’s YouTube channel and on CAF’s global TV partners.

In the build-up to the event, CAF will on Tuesday, begin to disclose several significant participants in the Final Draw, such as the Draw Hosts, the Draw Assistants, and famous artists from the worlds of music and culture.

Together, CAF and the host nation, Côte d’Ivoire, have been working together to put up a world-class Final Draw event.

The AFCON competition will run from January 13 to February 11, 2024.
