Brendan Rodgers has addressed the rumour that he would be succeeding Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United.
Rodgers who is the current coach of Leicester City since 2019, has been on fire at the King Power Stadium.
Last season the Northern Irish coach led his team to the finals of the FA cup which they won and began the 2021/22 season with a win over Manchester City to claim the Community Shield.

These feats, which happened in the space of six months have placed the Foxes’ manager on top of the list of successors to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Manchester United coach, Ole Solskjaer has come under immense fire following defeats to city rival Manchester City two weeks after a 5-0 defeat against Liverpool.
The speculations about Rodgers move to Old Trafford was increased during the international break, the Norwegian who travelled to Norway and Leicester City’s game against Chelsea on Friday.
According to Leicestershire Live, the Northern Irish man while speaking at a scheduled press conference on Thursday, responded to questions about the links to Manchester United.
Rodgers said: “Firstly, it’s really disrespectful for you to ask the question when there is a manager in place at the club.
“Secondly, I can’t comment on it because it’s not real. I’m proud to be here at Leicester City. The only thing I’m thinking about is Chelsea and getting ready for that.
“It’s frustrating for supporters and my players, but from a personal perspective, it’s something that it’s in the modern game, but something I have no focus on whatsoever.”
