The Lagos State Police has arrested two members of a cult group in the Sangotedo area of the state.
The police responded to a distress call from Sangotedo that the cult groups were on rampage.
In a statement by the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, on Tuesday morning, the cultists were arrested with locally made firearms.
He said “Men of Ajah Division responded swiftly to a distress call from Sangotedo that cultists were on rampage. These two were arrested with locally made firearms.”
Hundeyin revealed that “they are currently assisting with ongoing investigations.”
