Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker Committee Mai Mala Buni has announced that the APC convention will take place on February 26.
The Yobe State Governor also spoke at the national conference of progressive women 2022 held at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja on Tuesday.
He said the party is counting on the support of women to hold a successful convention.
Recall that Lagos Post reported on Monday that the Progressives Governors Forum held a closed-door meeting on Sunday night where they discussed the convention and insisted that it would still be held in February but without a date.
Chairman of the PGF and Kebbi state governor, Governor Atiku Bagudu told newsmen that the APC Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) was best to announce the date.
