Former two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has surpassed the $200 million mark in career earnings, solidifying his position among boxing’s highest earners.
Joshua’s financial success now eclipses that of heavyweight rival Tyson Fury and rising star Gervonta Davis.

In 2024 alone, Joshua earned $75 million, placing him second only to Mexican boxing icon Canelo Alvarez in terms of yearly earnings.
While both Joshua and Alvarez earned the same purse from their respective fights, Alvarez edged Joshua out by $2 million in off-field earnings, further highlighting the global appeal and business acumen of both champions.
Meanwhile, Fury, who has been a dominant figure in the heavyweight division, earned $50 million in 2024, taking his career earnings to $150 million—significantly behind Joshua’s impressive haul.
Rising star Gervonta Davis, 30, has accumulated $50 million since turning professional, with his bouts against Ryan Garcia and Frank Martin contributing nearly $20 million to his career wealth.
Joshua’s rise to financial prominence began with his high-paying rematch against Andy Ruiz Jr. in Saudi Arabia, where he earned $65 million.
His subsequent matchups with Oleksandr Usyk also contributed significantly to his career earnings, with over $40 million garnered from their first two encounters.
Joshua’s financial ascent was further accelerated by his high-profile clash with former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, which added an additional $50 million to his wealth.
Additionally, Joshua has enjoyed multiple paydays of $12 million per fight for bouts against Jermaine Franklin and Robert Helenius, as well as six lucrative shows at the Principality Stadium and Wembley.
Despite recent injuries from his loss to Daniel Dubois, Joshua remains focused on a potential showdown with Fury. The 35-year-old boxer is awaiting the outcome of the Usyk vs. Fury 2 fight before determining his next steps in the ring.
Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, confirmed that the British boxing star will not return to the ring until at least May 2024.
“We’ve got one last chapter in this career that we need to make sure we get 100 per cent spot on,” Hearn said.
“When he comes back, he has to be physically and mentally 100 per cent ready.”
With one fight remaining on his Riyadh Season contract, Joshua may soon receive a lucrative offer for a long-awaited clash with Fury, a bout that could further elevate his already impressive career earnings.
