Google will soon introduce its new material You design system on Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and more on Android. This new look will include changes in navigation bars, improved action buttons and Google Sans text for better readability.
This portion of the Android 12 redesign includes large, bubbly buttons, modifying colors, soft animations, and some changes to built-in apps.
The design changes multimedia pixel devices with Android 12 or more recently; you can combine colors within applications like Gmail, Google Meet, and Google Drive with your wallpapers for what Google referred to as a “more dynamic, personalized look”.
However, existing colour schemes and colour-coded file types, and folders will remain unchanged within applications.
The final result is subtle but colourful changes in applications such as Gmail, the calendar, and documents.
Google was really inclined to rounded corners and the changes are mostly aesthetic, which means that the positions of the buttons and the basic navigation are not changing.
Design changes are already available in Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. They will also appear on Google Calendar on September 20 and Google Meet on September 19th. All design changes are available for Google personal accounts and Google Workspace users.
