AFCON qualifiers: 12 players report to Super Eagles camp

Six more players have reported to the Super Eagles camp ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against Guinea-Bissau.

LagosPost earlier reported that six players which include Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Joe Aribo, Semi Ajayi, Ademola Lookman and Kevin Akpoguma had arrived at the team’s John Woods Hotel base.

The team’s camp opened officially on Monday morning and six more players have joined the team in Abuja.

The players in camp are Chijioke Aniagboso, Francis Uzoho, Wilfred Ndidi, Daniel Bameyi, and Kenneth Omeruo.

The remaining 11 players are still being expected.

The Super Eagles will have their first official training later this evening at the practice pitch of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
