The Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun has rejoiced with the leadership and great people of Coker-Aguda and Itire-Ikate LCDA on the occasion of the first 100 days of their chairmen and councilors. Pointing out that the first 100 days has been marked with positive imprint, he urged the council helmsmen not to rest on the oars.

Speaking exclusively with Oki Samson of Trek Africa Newspaper, Dr. Balogun noted: ‘Both Hon. Ibrahim Rasaq Lekan and Hon. Ahmed Apatira have given a good account of their capacity to man the Coker-Aguda and Itire-Ikate LCDA respectively. 35-year-old Hon. Lekan is a shining light to the leadership capacity and innovative prowess of Nigerian youths. Hon. Ahmed Apatira, now in his second term, is a great council chairman. I want to congratulate both of them and tell them not to rest on their oars through the entire duration. Responsibility has been cast on you by this rare privilege.’

The LSSTF boss also praised the ward councillors in both councils for playing their roles well in community development. ‘I thank the councils’ legislative leaders and councillors for giving their chairmen the leeway to work. This is democracy at work. We must put hands together for the benefit of our people.’

It should be noted that the Chairman of Coker-Aguda LCDA, Hon. Ibrahim Rasaq Lekan is set to host leaders, youths, women, and other members of the community on Tuesday 16th November to an event marking his First-100-days in office while commissioning some of his landmark projects in the said duration.
