Former Ogun State Governor, Gbenga Daniel visited the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday at his Bourdillon residence in Ikoyi.

Although details were not disclosed, it was discovered that Daniel’s visit was primarily to greet the erstwhile governor of Lagos.

Daniel, who joined  APC this year, was Director-General of the PDP’s presidential campaign for Atiku Abubakar in 2019.

He supported APC’s Dapo Abiodun in winning the gubernatorial election against the PDP candidate, the late Buruji Kashamu.

Tinubu returned to Nigeria last Friday after a three-month break in the UK.

APC National Leader was in London for right knee surgery and stayed for post-surgery physical therapy.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said Tinubu is healthy and more energetic ahead of his “next political move”.

Earlier, Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose visited the APC leader saying that “politics should be about love for each other.” and that he remains “an unrepentant PDP leader and key stakeholder”.
